We are so proud of all of our students at the World of Dance.  They have  completely excelled our expectations this past weekend at our 2009 dance recital "Live...Love...Dance..." held at The Palace Theatre.  The show opened with a production number "You Better Work" danced from all of our children on our competition team. They made us so proud as they danced truly from within. When the curtain reopened the little ones made us all smile.  Our youngest dancers, aged 2-5 made our audience applaud with delight at watching their little feet move to the beat of the music. As the recital continued, I found myself getting choked up with such emotions.  I felt such joy and pride in watching these beautiful children dance so elegantly. All of our children that danced this weekend brought me a great sense of pride.  Thank you to all of our parents for making this year such a success.  My teachers deserve a round of applause for their dedication to your children and their amazing talent they share with them.

Learning to count music, learning to memorize steps, learning to rely on others and have others rely on us. It's all about a desire in your heart to move your feet every time you hear the beats in the music. It's all about the happiest feeling there is every time you put on your dancing shoes.

 The founders of The World of Dance have been training dancers for over 25 years. We teach Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Pointe and Ballet at all levels. Whether you child is experienced or just starting out, we have a program that is right for them. We believe that dancing should be fun, and if our students really enjoy themselves, expertise in technique will come in time. Our curriculum includes a variety of classes and programs designed to meet the various commitment levels of each student. We offer combination tap and jazz classes, ballet and hip hop classes for all levels and ages. We offer separate technique classes in ballet, jazz and lyrical and tap for students who wish to advance their training and hone their skills.

 We specialize in teaching your young children age two and up. Our proven dance program not only allows your child to experience the fun and joy of dancing, but also builds a foundation for more in-depth technical training as they grow.
